Instructor Info

Andrea Chebeleu

Andrea Chebeleu is the artist and entrepreneur behind A Work of Heart Studio.  A creative innovator from a very young age, Andrea enjoys a challenge and most of all figuring out how to make art with what’s on hand.  As an art instructor, her greatest joy comes from leading students through a process that, on the surface, looks complex but is achieved in simple steps.  Andrea's students appreciate her knowledge of materials, techniques and "try it and see what happens" attitude.  Creativity comes intrying and retrying.  Andrea takes the fear of trying in her approach of "first, not only."  While it may be the first time you’ve tried this, it’s not your only time.  Students are empowered to freely approach learning with playful curioisty.

Dr. Minette Riordan

Minette Riordan, Ph.D. is a modern-day Renaissance Woman. She is an artist, poet and writer who believes passionately that making time making art is essential to our well-being. She has built several successful businesses and published three books. Making art has helped her to recover from being an overachiever and perfectionist workaholic.

She believes that we are all creative and it's time to own our artistry! The only way to do that is through consistent and frequent creative play. Minette loves the dynamic interplay of creativity and productivity and helps other artists and creatives to find their creative purpose and make time for their art.
