One part planner+one part art journal=pure magic
I've found the secret to establising and maintaining a daily creative practice is having a container that works for me. The Daily Creative Practice Journal is actually made up of 12 individual pamplets/signatures that you "live in" throughout the month. They are perfectly sized to give you one spread per week for any given month. At the end of the year you have a collection of pamphlets that make an incredibly chonky (but still managable) book that captures a year of creative living.
This session is an "improvement" on previous sessions I've taught which is why I call it 2.0. You get the best of the adaptions I've made from feedback of others using this system. Even if you don't want to use it as a planner/calendar you can still fill this up with any sort of creative endeavor or challenge. The possibilities really are endless as are the customization options.
Supply list coming soon.
Andrea Chebeleu is the artist and entrepreneur behind A Work of Heart Studio. A creative innovator from a very young age, Andrea enjoys a challenge and most of all figuring out how to make art with what’s on hand. As an art instructor, her greatest joy comes from leading students through a process that, on the surface, looks complex but is achieved in simple steps. Andrea's students appreciate her knowledge of materials, techniques and "try it and see what happens" attitude. Creativity comes from trying and retrying. Andrea takes the fear of trying in her approach of "first, not only." While it may be the first time you’ve tried this, it’s not your only time. Students are empowered to freely and playfully experiment without expectations.
